Gwena Morgan

located in Chapel Hill, NC & Raleigh, NC

Gwena has been a practicing Registered Nurse since 1996. She was initially a pediatric nurse in the hospital before moving to private practice.  Her last pediatric job was as a charge nurse in an excellent pediatric emergency room.  This is where she obtained her exceptional skills in injecting tiny veins.  Since January 2007 she has been treating patients as a nurse sclerotherapist originally with VCA and then in 2017 the compayny mergered and became CVI. She has 19 years experience in helping her patient’s legs look and feel better by treating their reticular (blue green surface veins) and spider veins. Through the years she has perfected her treatment and guarentees at least 80% improvement in their spider veins for her patients. Gwena enjoys the opportunity to see patients through their treatment process at Carolina Vein Institute. Making a connection with patients and helping to keep their vein disease under control is important to her. She has a very high retention rate and her patients love seeing her for a yearly appointment to maintain their wonderful results. Also for the last 8 years she has been treating patients with neurotoxins (i.e. Botox® ) that help clients with facial wrinkles. Giving them a youthful appearance while still maintaining the ability to make facial expressions.

Gwena lives in Wake Forest, North Carolina with her husband Frank , their son Banks and their 2 gorgeous Ragdoll cats Percy and Phoebe.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends in Hatteras, North Carolina (the best place on earth).  She also enjoys crocheting with her side Etsy business, reading, watching horror movies with her husband like when they were kids, fishing, painting and relaxing with her cats.
